THE TITAN - A FANTASTIC LITHIUM ION POWERED 21 SPEED HYBRID BIKE

With a discrete 24 Volt 10Ah Lithium Ion Battery Pack just behind the seat and 250 Watt U.K. Legal Motor in the Front Wheel the revised Alien Titan is for those people who want to have a sports hybrid bike but don't want anyone else to know about it! Being very light and with the powerful Li-Ion pack it's also a quick bike! And, unlike many electric models which have the controller mounted low down, the bike has the Intelligent Controller mounted inside the battery housing to suit the British weather a bit more!

The bike has an excellent specification including Alloy Frame, Front Suspension and 21 Speed Shimano gears including a Super Low Gear for those pesky hills. It even comes with a water bottle! For those unfortunate enough to have problems with their back or knees or indeed those who (like me!) don't like pedalling at all, you will be glad to hear that the bike can be used on the throttle from a standstill. (Unfortunately, you might just have to pedal going up a hill though!!)

Please, just check the specification of all of the electric bikes on from any supplier in the UK and then check my bikes again. I hope you will see that, on the specification alone, the bikes are way out in front. Then, when it comes to the price, it just gets better!

** Please note that the bike is equipped with a US spec controller capable of 20mph which is presently set at 15mph - the UK legal limit at which power is cut off to the motor. However, this can be easily adjusted from 15mph to 20mph but any attempt to do this would, of course, render the bike illegal for use on UK roads. Just to make this absolutely clear, this does not mean that the bike will then go at 20mph, it simply means that the controller will allow power to be used up to 20mph.

Please also note that, in response to many queries, the Titan cannot be fitted with a 36v battery.   Go on -  buy a "Special" instead!  :-))
