The power of our completely illegal Aurora on a step-through bike!

Since we introduced our Aurora off road bike we have received many requests for the same performance but on a bike with a step-through frame so we have built this one-off special model that does just that! Like the Aurora, it does not conform to UK or European regulations for electric bikes as it is capable of more than the standard 15mph maximum speed. It is designed to provide the rider with an off-road only capability with particular emphasis on hill climbing ability on a bike that's easy to mount.

It uses the superb Suzhou Bafang BPM motor allied to a Suzhou Bafang 18A controller and Suzhou Bafang electronic throttle. Speed will, dependent upon the usual rider, terrain, road conditions etc. be in the region of 20mph or even higher but it's all about the torque available to you.  This thing goes up hills and, once again in my opinion, this is more important to a lot of people than the ability to do 30mph unassisted!

 However, don't get me wrong - that torque also means that this bike is quick off the mark and, using throttle only, its one of the best accelerating bikes we have.   

With this performance, the bike is therefore illegal to use on UK or European roads and MUST only be used off road.  Due to the illegality of the bike, AlienOcean will not take any responsibility for any incident whatsoever related to anyone using the Aurora in either on-road or off-road conditions. 

The Breeze 350w has a lockable and easily removable 36V 10Ah Lithium Ion battery pack in a very strong rear rack.  It also has, of course, the AlienOcean "PowerMode" system and a host of other superb features incuding:

The DEFENDER bike lock works just like a wheel lock on a motorcycle.  When it is locked, a heavy duty pin goes through the wheel and connects to the other side of the lock thus forming a bridge between one side of the wheel and the other.
